[Effing Worms 2]

"Fun but far too easy."
Compared to the first this one is far more boring and imbalanced in upgrades, there's something serious wrong when within 5 minutes of play I can reach the final mutation, never die once, get all the medals, and reach a combo of at least 999 in the post-game mode.

It's still fun don't get me wrong but when the first you had to be careful and in this you have to just tap the arrows enough to stay above ground you can clear a level in mere seconds with no chance of death.

And I still say it's a "Death Worm" clone. Just added upgrades and meme-based enemies. Wish you kept the "Day/Night" and "Under/Above Ground" options though.

I love the smell of 372,844 pancakes in the morning... Smells like victory.

It's well made, looks great, feels a bit different then most restaurant games. Sadly just not in my taste, but I can't deny that it's bug free and one of the smoothest running games I've come upon

Short Sweet Cute Fun
Just ONE problem (don't know if it is or isn't just mentioning)
The badges aren't working yet... or I would have 2 of them (read the whole letter in one sitting, 13 seconds after the game started, so speed reader and book worm are what didn't unlock)

Old concept Sniper is OP Strawberry jam is stupid.

It's about average, better done then other defense games like it granted but still pretty done, and playing through it I tried out all the different weapons and after having them all and upgraded most of them I only ever Used the sniper rifle because it can shoot so fast (semi-auto) has next to unlimited piercing, does 1-2 shot kills, and has NO (or next to no) bloom making it impossible to miss with

Now I was going to give this a 7
but then the crap hit the fan, or more properly the strawberry jam hit the screen
I was trying out the other guns to see if anything could best the sniper rifle (no they can't) and while trying that and a sniper shot me while I wasn't really paying attention and trying to aim, and the screen got gushed over
what kind of moron came up with the mechanic of "Well he's about to die and needs to really pull off something awesome to get out of it... so instead of playing epic music or making things lose a bit of color and putting a flashing red border or a beeping sound, LET'S JUST TOTALLY BLIND THEM"

because yes, when someone shoots you in a game like this, it makes perfect sense to make it so you can't see what the heck you're doing -sarcasm-

all that being said, I think I've made my point clear for my score
and before anyone rages "oh your score sucks"
it's a 6
that's ABOVE average
and compared to other masterpiece games on this site that's actually being honest (if not generous)

I see others say more guns and variety and I will agree with that, but I would rather see balance come before variety, put some time between shots on the sniper for crying out loud, (and some small bloom on the pistol because that one is also pretty broken)

This is the final version (V3). Its easier, has more ending scenes and bugs/cheats are fixed.
Also I was waiting for a leaderbox but that never happened.

...which I am not

But come on people, the dragon is not hard I beat it first try and only got hit twice

all you do is hold up till he shoots, then down, repeat... you'll dodge every shot and land quite many as well

Great job, nice metal slug 'esk gameplay, really enjoyable (totally bought the XBLA version x_x) and it brings back memories of when games were actually hard and challenging... instead of todays BS where you get your legs blown off so you suck your thumb behind cover waiting for them to grow back in 5 seconds...

again, GREAT job, REALLY fun, the difficulty adds to that for me

and again, everyone who says this sucks because it's hard
A) Grow Up
B) Get Better
C) Stop whining and walk it off, it's just a game
D) Go play Halo and Guitar Hero or something else that takes no skill whatsoever to be good at
